What is Tungsten Carbide



So you may have asked, what is Tungsten Carbide?  Well Tungsten Carbide is an unnatural metal that out weighs gold.  The name tung-sten means "heavy stone", it is ranked second hardest next to diamond on the Mohs scale, diamond being a 10 followed by Tungsten Carbide as 9.   Though Tungsten being a 9 in hardness, in high pressure conditions you can shatter the band, which makes it easy to remove with a vice.  All of our Tungsten jewelry is Cobalt Free and hypoallergenic.
